Many of the pieces in the collection are from the Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern time period. Deco inlay designs in the furniture, complete with interesting lines, forms and shapes. Inventory like deco bars and bar carts, Danish teak chairs and tables, and deco seating sets.
The British Raj and English Campaign pieces are excellent examples of British Colonial influence but with an exotic twist...made of a rare hardwood such as rosewood, teak, satinwood or camphor; or with a carved element along the drawer fronts or top edge not typical of the genre. The quality and craftsmanship of the work is remarkable. You might find a caned teak chaise from a tea plantation to use on your porch or veranda, a set of folding rosewood deck chairs from 1920’s British steamer ships, or British Campaign camphor wood sea chests originally used to transport silks back to England. Always unusual and different.
