Located at 15 Centre Street, Nantucket, The Lockhart Collection is a trusted resource for interior designers and movie production companies.
The gallery itself is open seasonally from Mid-May to Mid-October, Thanksgiving week through Nantucket Stroll. The company is also a vetted dealer with 1st Dibs and Chairish.
Furniture / Lighting / Accessories
The vintage and antique furniture, lighting and accessory collection is eclectic and elegant. The Lockhart Collection specializes in Mid-Century Modern and Art Deco pieces, British Campaign furniture and of course, some finds that defy any category. The furniture pieces are often hand-crafted of exotic hard woods and reflect the beauty of their time.
Such as Art Deco inlay designs, Mid-Century Modern angular lines or the elegant simplicity of the British Campaign pieces designed to travel. The lighting ranges from Mid-Century Modern ceiling pendants, table lamps with art glass European shades and an array of floor lamps and sconces. All sourced by Deborah Lockhart Phillips.
Nautical
Given her affinity for the sea, Deborah Lockhart Phillips has reclaimed and repurposed nautical instruments and artifacts from decommissioned ships for over twenty-five years. The collection includes, ship’s telegraphs, morse code shutter lights, deck and passageway lights, navigational instruments and lights. A specialty is re-purposing vintage nautical artifacts.
Her designs include large compasses converted to tables, teak decking converted to tables, porthole windows into tables or mirrors, anemometers into sculptures, among many other nautical pieces. The Lockhart Collection has become renowned for their nautical collection, especially on Nantucket.
Jewelry
The fine jewelry collection is sourced, designed and/or created by Deborah Lockhart Phillips. Through her international travels, she has cultivated prime resources for precious and semi-precious gemstones of unusual cuts in a variety of settings for rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Included in The Lockhart Collection are vintage Indian 18-22K
gold pieces with intricate workmanship rarely found in the modern age.
In creating the contemporary collection, she works directly with artisans to bring jewelry of the highest quality directly to market. This collection is sold in the gallery and also on 1st Dibs and Chairish.
